Oviedo Schools
Relocating a family with school age children always involves a certain amount of research and concern. If you are considering the purchase of an Oviedo foreclosure home, rest assured that both the public and private schools in Oviedo are ranked with the highest in the state.
Aside from school test scores and rankings, student teacher ratios are an important consideration when moving to a new location. Currently, Orlando area public schools enjoy a 14:1 student teacher ratio, while the private schools run an 11:1 average.
Several years ago, during the height of Florida’s housing boom, some school districts averaged student body populations anywhere from 900 to over 1200. Even during this time period, Orlando area high schools averaged in the 800′s, while the middle and elementary schools were between six and seven hundred students.
The level of pre-planning involved in the continuously stable and high achieving atmosphere of the Orlando area school system should serve as a welcoming signal to any family thinking of relocating.
